We provide individual counselling and psychotherapy for people navigating the emotional complexities of health, fertility, grief, and major life transitions. This includes support with infertility, cancer and oncofertility, surrogacy, reproductive loss, perinatal and postpartum challenges, as well as the psychological impact of pain, illness, reduced function, significant diagnoses, and other life-altering experiences.

Our approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and grounded in both professional training and lived experience. Having personally walked through infertility, cancer, and surrogacy, Marisa brings a deep understanding of the emotional weight these journeys carry.
Together, we’ll create a space where you can process what you’re carrying, find meaning in your story,and develop strategies that feel supportive for where you are now.

implications counselling for intended parents
Implications counselling is a required step for intended parents pursuing surrogacy or third-party reproduction. These sessions provide a supportive space to explore the emotional, relational, and practical considerations for you, your partner, your future child, and your support system.
A written report can be provided for your fertility clinic as part of the treatment requirements.
Surrogate & Donor assessments
In Canada, surrogates and donors complete a psychosocial assessment with a qualified mental health professional. These sessions explore readiness, expectations, support systems, and emotional considerations.
A written report is then provided to your fertility clinic to meet requirements and ensure all parties feel prepared and supported moving forward.
60 min session + report: $235 each
